Yr 12 Easter Holiday work

Yr12 - You need to have completed the following work by the end of the Easter holidays:

Spits, Bars, Tombolos, Cuspate forelands - Example & explanation.
Hard Engineering & Soft Engineering approaches - Theory & examples p114-116
Recap Isostatic and Eustatic change

There are a number of "easy" case studies which you must also complete: 

Seaford Beach replenishment - Case Study - p116 - Explain why it was needed and what the authorities did to combat erosion. Find and annotate a map. (It gives you a sense of place). Use snipping tool & Google earth)

Essex Marshes Managed Retreat case study - p124-126 - Explain why it was needed and what the authorities did to combat erosion. Find and annotate a map. (It gives you a sense of place)
